Maseru, Sept. 05 — In a bid to nurture cultural appreciation and creativity from an early age, KayCee Primary School hosted its inaugural Art Exhibition in Maseru on Friday.
Speaking to the Agency, the school’s Art Teacher, Mr. Greatsam Oladipupo, explained that the event’s main goal was to celebrate and promote Lesotho’s cultural heritage through artistic expression.
He indicated that Art plays a vital role in Basotho culture and if it is embraced and supported particularly by government and other stakeholders it can serve not only as cultural preservation but also as a source of tourism and income.
Mr. Oladipupo emphasized the importance of introducing art to children at an early stage, noting that this fosters both appreciation and talent development.
