LESOTHO COMMEMORATES WORLD AIDS DAY

Maseru, Nov. 30– The AIDS Health Care Foundation (AHF) will commemorate World AIDS Day to remember and honour heroes and heroines who lost their lives to AIDS-related illness, support those who carry on the fight, and unite people globally in battling HIV/AIDS.

According to Mrs. ‘Mapaballo ‘Mile, Country Program Manager, AHF Lesotho, Lesotho has made significant progress over the past years, while globally HIV/AIDS response faces serious threats, including insufficient funding.

”Every year as we commemorate World AIDS Day, we look into achievements and gains over the past years in the country, and this year our focus is on leadership at the decision-making levels where we will engage Members of the Parliament (MP’s)  to continue supporting HIV/AIDS initiatives both at community and national level”, she said. . .
