Maseru, Sept.02 — The Minister of Agriculture, Food Security and Nutrition Mr. Thabo Mofosi says traders could resume getting permits for importation of potatoes and other agricultural products which were earlier banned in the country.
This, he said in the National Assembly on Tuesday when responding to the plea of All Basotho Convention (ABC ) Leader Mr. Nkaku Kabi who stood on point of order, requesting the government through the Ministry to lift the ban of potatoes as there has been a decrease in local supply.
Mr. Mofosi said the Ministry has already lifted the ban on the importation of above mentioned products to improve local supply. . .
