MORE THAN 15 HECTORS FENCED

Quthing, Sept. 02 — More than 15 hectors of the over 30 targeted hectors for Tsatsane livestock communal farm at Ha-Sekonyela have been covered been covered in the ongoing fencing of project area expected to be completed during the course of this month.

The fencing of Tsatsane livestock communal farm that started in July, is funded by Global Environment Facility (GEF) through Small Grants project, aimed at breeding hybrid livestock by members of Tsatsane grazing association.

Mr. Wenzene Msenzelane, who is a Community Councillor for Liphapang electoral division in Tsatsane area, told the Agency in interview that, the fencing is continuing smoothly, as community from various villages is committed in voluntary collection of materials that include sand, cement and poles to the project site.

“Community is also assisting local constructor engaged in the fencing whenever need arises to speed up project completion process”, he said.

Mr. Msenzelane pointed out that after completion, the communal farm will  benefit more than 100 members of Tsatsane grazing in association with breeding different hybrid livestock that such as sheep, goats and cattle.
