LESOTHO TO HOST 2025 ATLAS BASH FOR CONSERVATION EFFORTS

Maseru, Feb.  06 — Birdwatching enthusiasts are gearing up for the 2025 Lesotho Atlas Bash, an event that combines the joy of birding with meaningful conservation work.

Scheduled to take place from tomorrow 7th to 10th February, from Katse Dam to Mokhotlong, this unique experience is organized by BirdLife South Africa in partnership with the Lesotho Highlands Development Authority (LHDA).

The Lesotho Atlas Bash invites participants to immerse themselves in the breathtaking landscapes while contributing to vital bird conservation efforts through Bird Atlasing.

This citizen science project involves volunteers mapping the distribution of bird species across Southern Africa, including countries like Lesotho, South Africa, and Botswana.
