Maseru, July.13 — The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Relations, Mr. Lejone Mpotjoana, is expected to lead back home a delegation from Lesotho which was attending a high-level delegation of Cabinet Ministers and Senior Officials to the Extraordinary Meeting of the Ministerial Committee of the Organ (MCO) on Politics, Defense and Security Cooperation which was in Lusaka, Zambia.
According to the statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and international Relations, this gathering was aimed at evaluating the progress made on implementing decisions of the MCO, assess the current political and security landscape within the SADC region and focused on enhancing democratic consolidation.
From this meeting the ministry reported that discussions also covered the reform process in Lesotho and the country’s withdrawal from the SADC Mission in Mozambique (SAMIM). . .
