Maseru, Jan. 17 — Ministers led the national cleaning campaign which commenced on Friday morning at Ha Makhoathi, in Maseru district, where they reiterated the need to keep a clean environment.
The monthly campaign, which has now become a practice, also brought together the civil servants, private sector, business community and Makhoathi villagers.
Speaking at the event on behalf of the Prime Minister, the Minister of Forestry and Environment Mr. Letsema Adonts’i said a clean environment is the responsibility of all, that is, the public, business community, schools and Chiefs.

He indicated that although the campaign was launched in 2022, there is little positive impact as people continue to litter in the streets within towns and villages. . .
