Thaba Tseka, April 4 — The Mashai Chiefs have raised concerns with the government about the exclusion of The Early Childhood Care and Development (ECCD) teachers from their payroll.
This Chief Khomo-ea-Mollo stated during their sitting at Mashai on Thursday.
He said if they all get that they will help keep young ones in school, as most families cannot afford to pay monthly fees.
Chief Khomo-ea-Mollo Khomo-ea-Mollo also mentioned that some children have been abandoned by their parents and their grandparents, who cannot afford to pay fees, and therefore are forced to stay at home. ML/TL
