Mokhotlong, Oct. 20 — A five day national Measles/Rubella vaccination campaign kicked off in various health facilities, and selected vaccination sites in the district on Monday.
Parents and guardians showed up with children at various health facilities and vaccination sites to ensure that children are vaccinated against Measles/Rubella diseases.
The targeted children to receive the vaccine are those between 9 months and 59 months old. They are also given Vitamin A tablets to strengthen their vision and Deworming tablets.
Besides the health facilities, other areas selected for vaccination sites include pre-schools, Chiefs and Village Health Workers places.
