MASERU — In an effort to raise awareness about Climate Change, the Ministry of Environment and Forestry through the Department of Meteorological Services in collaboration with the National Climate Change Committee will host event themed Walk4Climate on Friday next week.
According to the statement, the event aims to raise awareness about climate change, highlight and celebrate achievements in national climate action and promote the implementation of the National Climate Change Communication Strategy.
It says, this event will bring together key dignitaries, development partners, civil society organisations, government ministries, private sector, youth groups and the general public to participate in a 5km walk and engage in interactive climate and environmental activities including plogging and advocacy exhibitions.
