Maseru Aug. 22 — The Ministry of Education and Training(MOET) has launched Joint Educational Sector Review (JESR) in Maseru on Friday.
During the launch, MOET’s Principal Secretary Mr. Rats’iu Majara shed light on the progress of the Lesotho Joint Education Sector Review.
Mr. Majara highlighted that the JESR is a 10-year-plan launched in 2016 with the focus on accessibility and relevance in education.
He further emphasized the importance of cooperation and collaboration among stakeholders including the World Bank, other sectors and the media to ensure that information is shared effectively and the JESR objectives are achieved. He added that all people have a role in JESR.
Mr.Pitso Matsoso from the department of planning in the ministry of education said the JESR is a collaborative exercise which involves all stakeholders within the education sector, central level, District level and local level. . . .
