Maseru, Jan. 13—Death toll in election riots going on in Mozambique has risen to about 300, even after the call to the Southern African Development Community (SADC) to intervene.
One person was shot on Thursday when opposition Leader Venancio Mondlane arrived in the country following his self-imposed exile of two months.
Mondlane has now called on his supporters and sympathisers to go on strike again as he says his exclusion from negotiations that centred around the October 09 elections shows that Frelimo was declaring war against him…
