Qacha’sNek, May 17 — A murder suspect Mosebo Motloheloa of Ha Phafoli, Liperekising has been remanded in custody.
A 42 year-old is alleged to have shot dead Mocheko Pita (61) of Qabane on May 7 who was found with multiple gun wounds on his body.
He appeared briefly before the Qacha’s Nek Magistrate Court Senior Magistrate Ts’eliso Bale to face murder charge and illegal possession of a gun on Thursday.
The accused will be back in court on May 28.
In an interview with the Agency, Detective Sub Inspector Thabo Setenane, Qacha’snek Police Station Criminal Investigation Division (CID) Manager said Pita was intercepted and attacked with his 60 year old friend on their way to Mokopung local court.
