Maseru, Dec.11 — The Migrant Workers Association of Lesotho (MWA_Le) has deployed its staff in three major points of entry at Van Rooyen, Maseru and Maputsoe border gates since last week.
MWA_LS Executive Director, Mr. Lerato Nkhetse told the Agency on Monday that the purpose of the deployment is to assist migrant workers coming home for the festive season with relevant information regarding the Lesotho Special Permits (LSP) exemption that was due to expire end of December, which has since been extended.
Mr. Nkhetse said this would mean that those working in neighbouring South Africa that their jobs were at the risk of being lost.
