Maseru, Sept.07 — In commemoration of the International Deaf awareness week, the National Association of the Deaf Lesotho (NADL) will hold a one day workshop in Maseru on Wednesday,20th.
Speaking in an interview with the Agency on Thursday, the association’s Director Ms. Bongiwe Buzi said the purpose of this workshop is to put in light all parties the challenges that the deaf community face in their everyday life.
She stated that being deaf brings challenges that not everyone will experience and part of these challenges can be to do with mental health and exclusion from others.
