NATIONAL ASSEMBLY ADJOURNS

Maseru, March. 14 – The National Assembly adjourned its business until tomorrow, Friday due to no quorum. This was announced after prayer by the Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly in Parliament on Thursday.

According to Mrs. Ts’epang Ts’ita – Mosena,  the house waited for the arrival of members in order to start today’s business only to establish that a larger number of Parliamentarians did not show up. “I am therefore forced to adjourn the house until tomorrow, to allow for informal sessions”, she stressed.

The Deputy Speaker stated that  Parliamentarians are entrusted with a huge responsibility by the public, adding that adjourning the house due to no quorum means the work of the house is delayed. . .
