NO ARRESTS ON LEKOROANA SIBLINGS’ MURDER

Maseru, Jan. 27 — The police have not yet arrested perpetrators in connection with the murder of two siblings whose bodies were recovered from Maqalika dam on January 01 this year.

The deceased Eugenea (42) and Paballo (26) Lekoroana were buried over the past weekend at their homestead at Ha-Khoeli Koro-Koro in Maseru district.

In a brief interview on Monday, police Spokesperson Senior Superintendent Mpiti Mopeli told the Agency that no arrests have been made saying however that investigations are continuing.

He appealed to the Basotho nation to help the police with information that could lead to the arrest of the perpetrators. He also encouraged the killers to surrender themselves to the police.
