PRIMARY SCHOOL PRESENTS AWARDS TO DA

Qacha’s Nek, Nov.17— St Joseph primary school pupils accompanied by the district residents, friends and family have today presented science fair awards to the District Administrator (DA) with a convoy of cars, ululation and melodious songs.

This follows pupils’ participation in a range of categories including problem solving, oral quiz, projects and science olympiad where they performed exceptionally well obtaining first and second prizes, three trophies, gold, silver, bronze medals and certificates at a national science fair which was held at the Lesotho College of Education (LCE) from July 19 to 21, 2023.

Their grade four pupil, Ms. Tlholohelo Phamotse also represented the Lesotho Science and Maths Teachers Association (LSMTA) at the ESKOM EXPO for Young Scientist International Science Fair 2023 held in October 3 to 6 at Boksburg, Gauteng and she obtained bronze (third position) with her project titled alternative fuel. . .
