Maseru, Nov.17 — The Court of Appeal has on Friday in its judgment stated that an appeal and application for leave to appeal by Muhammad Ashraf and Tanveer Alam were both ill conceived.
The Court emphasised that for that reason they are struck off the roll. It further stated that the appeal and the application are incompetent therefore are struck off the roll.
The appellants had filed an appeal before the Court of Appeal after they were convicted of fraud. They asked the same court to set aside a directive by the High Court that they be given a custodial sentence. . .
