Qacha’s Nek, Oct. 27 — Local traders praised the opportunity to boost their businesses at the inaugural 21.1 km Mountain Marathon, held on Saturday at Melele ground.
Organized by Mountain Marathon 21km Pty Ltd, the event was made possible by a substantial M1.2 million sponsorship from Manti Sehloho Construction and Projects.
Arriving as early as dawn, sixty-four businesses registered to sell a range of local products—from traditional foods like nyekoe, Lipabi and Motoho, Basotho cultural attire, such as Mokorotlo hats and Thethana garments to snacks. . .
