Maseru, June 02 — As Queen ‘Masenate Mohato Seeiso celebrates her 50th birthday, the social media platform is decorated with the Queen’s pictures wishing her a happy and healthy birthday.
From private entity pages to individuals as well as others, many have taken their time to bless the mother of the nation and wife to the Head of State, King Letsie III.
Meanwhile, the former Anglican Church of Lesotho (ACL), now Bishop of Pretoria South Africa, Vicentia Kgabe said all should thank God who has bestowed upon her a precious gift to the Motšoeneng family and the nation at large.
In addition, she said her life is a testament to God’s love that embodies grace, faith, compassion and strength. She added that the Queen is a reminder that true leadership is rooted not merely in position but in service, and not merely in authority but in love.
Through the Queen, the Bishop who once served in Lesotho said many have found encouragement, hope and dignity in Queen’s life.
Therefore, as Queen ‘Masenate celebrates the golden milestone, thanksgiving is given to God for faithfulness throughout, rejoicing in the ways they have been sustained, guided and called to be an instrument of peace, hope, and care among the people of Lesotho.
Born on June 02, 1976, the Queen’s maiden name is Karabo Anna Motsóeneng, she was born at Maluti Adventist Hospital Mapoteng, Berea. She is the eldest daughter of five children in the family of Mr and Mrs Motsóeneng.
She has enrolled with Machabeng International College, she holds a Bachelor of Science degree with NUL. She is married to King Letsie III and both are blessed with three children, princess Senate and ‘Maseeiso as well as Prince Lerotholi.
