RAMAPHOSA UNVEILS GNU CABINET

Maseru, Jun.30 — South Africa President Cyril Ramaphosa has on Sunday night announced his 75 cabinet ministers under the Government of National Unity (GNU).

The new cabinet has 32 ministers and 43 deputy ministers from the 11 political parties that have formed the GNU. The parties are the African National Congress, Democratic Alliance, Patriotic Alliance, Inkatha Freedom Party, GOOD Party, Pan Africanist Congress of Azania, Freedom Front Plus, United Democratic Movement, Al Jama-ah, Rise Mzansi and the United Africans Transformation.

This comes just over a month after the people of South Africa voted in a watershed election.

In casting their votes, the people made it clear that they expect political parties to work together to deliver on a mandate of transformation, growth and renewal. . .
