REJECTION WORRIES ARMED FORCES

Maseru, Nov. 18 — Armed Forces Members have expressed their concern and worry of always getting rejection from the society in their quest to uphold the rule of law.

These opinions were shared by representatives of the forces during a special mass service held in honour of this group at St. Mary and St. James Cathedral of the Anglican Church of Lesotho(ACL) on Sunday.

Speaking on behalf of Lesotho Correctional Services (LCS), Deputy Commissioner Matingoe Phamotse mentioned it is depressing to establish the continuing rejection, where instead of gaining support,  they are not only isolated but spoken badly by the society on different platforms.

Therefore, he thanked the Church for having set aside this Sunday to pray, instill hope and revive the spirits of those in the armed forces. “This is a noble gesture that can never go unnoticed hence we showed up in large numbers,” he stressed.
