Maseru, July. 12– In commemoration of his 61st Birthday, King Letsie III has awarded medals of recognition to the members of the Lesotho Defence Force (LDF) and that of the Lesotho Mounted Police Service (LMPS) in an event held at the Royal Palace in Maseru on Friday.
While explaining the purpose of these awards, the Private Secretary to the King Mr. Nyolosi Mphale said that these awards are of outstanding services that the officers display in their respective offices and agencies.
He indicated that this the King does in commemoration of his annual birthday celebrations and he does it with the advice of the Council of State. . .
