Qacha’s Nek, Feb.12 — A 38-year-old woman of Linakeng, Ha Rapase was slapped with a two-year jail term with an option of a M2000 fine after she was found guilty of concealing childbirth.
She managed to pay fine after a brief appearance.
According to evidence given in the Qacha’s Nek Magistrate court before Resident Magistrate ‘Mampho Mokoena, Ms. Mpepuoa Qoakeli committed the crime on February 01, 2024.
The crown witness said she found her sitting on a bucket full of blood with the explanation that she threw the baby in the toilet. . .
