Maseru, Aug 21 – Basotho have been warned against different forms of human trafficking, particularly the booming business of organ harvesting in today’s dynamic world including locally.
Organ harvesting is the illegal practice of surgically removing a victim’s organ against their will, hence some victims are human trafficked or kidnapped for this to happen, Beautiful Dream Society (BDS) Director, Mrs. Mojabeng Mosebo has said.
Mrs. Mosebo reiterated that incidents such as these have become rife in the world today including in Lesotho, the more reason why the society ought to be careful.
