ST. AGNES PRIMARY HONORS TOP GRADE 7 PERFORMERS WITH MONTHLY BADGES

Berea, April 01 — Six Grade 7 learners from St. Agnes Primary School have been awarded academic badges on Wednesday to outstanding performers across different subjects, as part of the school’s ongoing efforts to improve results in the national examinations.

Speaking in an interview, the school principal, Mrs. Mamotia Moru said the badges are awarded monthly to learners who place first, second and third in each subject.

She explained that the initiative is aimed at motivating learners to work harder, as many are eager to earn recognition.

“The purpose of awarding these badges every month is to encourage healthy competition among learners. Each student wants to be recognised and that drives them to put more effort into their studies,” she said.

The school recorded notable success in the 2025 results, producing three national top achievers; a milestone it hopes to surpass through continued academic motivation and support.
