TAKING CARE OF THE ENVIRONMENT HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Maseru, March, 25 – The Kingdom of Lesotho faces unique challenges and opportunities when it comes to its natural resources capital.

This was said by the Minister of Forestry and Environment, Mr. Letsema Adonts’i, during the press conference held in Maseru on Monday.

In this presser, the minister mentioned that the Kingdom’s geography and climate conditions make it a special susceptible to environmental issues such as land cover loss, soil erosion, bi-diversity loss, climate change and water scarcity.

“Lesotho is a small country known for its abundant water resources, that it even exports water to its neighbouring country, South Africa,” he said. . .
