TEYATEYANENG WOOL SHED RESUME SHEEP SHEARING

Berea, Aug 08—In preparation for early shipment of wool to the international markets, the Teyateyaneng Wool and Mohair Growers Association (TWMGA) has resumed the sheep shearing process.

TWMGA Chairperson Mr. Motsamai Nyareli confirmed the development during an interview with the Agency on Monday.

Mr. Nyareli said having started the sheep shearing on Monday at least 150 sheep and above are scheduled to be sheared on daily basis.

He pointed out that their plan is to finish on September 08, then prepare for transportation of bales to the ports.

TWMGA Chairperson said looking at the conditions of their sheep, chances are high that they are going to have a good production of wool as compared to last year whereby they managed to record 75 bales and expectations are high of surpassing that number…RM/BM
