TSELA TS’OEU REFLECTS ON GBV JOURNEY 

Leribe, Oct. 15 — Help Lesotho through Tsela Ts’oeu Project on Wednesday reflected on its journey starting on its commencement in January 2025 together with its stakeholders at the meeting held at Help Lesotho premises, Hlotse in Leribe.

The project will be completed at the end of this month. The stakeholders included in the project were district administrators office, taxi drivers, representatives from taxi associations, Lesotho Mounted Police Service (LMPS), Traffic department and the project champions.

Help Lesotho Programmes Officer, Mr. Sello Matsoso said the Tsela Ts’oeu project is focused on Gender Based Violence in the transport sector in Hlotse, Maputsoe and Pitseng.

He said through the project, demographics of men causing Early Unplanned Pregnancy (EUP) and Gender Based Violence (GBV) include taxi drivers and their helpers, elderly men referred to as blessers and herdboys.
