WATER CONSULTS ON THE BILL

Botha-Bothe, July 19 — Ministry of Natural Resources through the Department of Water is on the move to make consultations with stakeholders on the new Bill, Water and Sanitation Services Bill, 2023.

The new Bill which is currently on its draft stage is meant to ensure that the nation’s waters are developed, used, managed, well governed and controlled in a way that take into account issues such as meeting affordable basic water supply and Sanitation for human needs, promoting equitable access to water and Sanitation services and many others issues.
