YOUNG LEADERS EXPRESS READINESS FOR PARLIAMENT

Maseru, July 18—Prior to the 2024 National Children’s Parliament session to convene on Friday at Thaba-bosiu, the nominated young leaders have expressed their readiness to influence the policy change particularly to the issues which affect children.

The National Children’s Parliament session has gathered together at least 50 children from different backgrounds and it will run under a theme, “Education for all, challenges facing wellbeing and development of children in Lesotho”.

When approached for a comment, one of the children’s representatives from Mohale’s Hoek, Gift Rangoajane said as much as their key focus is on education,  many children are  subjected to many issues which violate their human rights and their learning is  affected…
