Berea, Feb. 18 — A young man from Teyateyaneng has shown dedication to taking his drawing skills to the next level by making portraits of local celebrities to fight unemployment and earn a living.
Speaking with the Agency, Mr. Katleho Leokaoke (23) from Teyateyaneng says he fell in love with drawing at an early age of eight. He further highlighted that his dream was inspired by his brothers’ drawings.
Leokaoke said he used to draw at Sunday school until he was shown a portrait and was given a different picture to work on, adding that he also had a friend who loved art and further introduced him to painting as he only knew how to use a pencil then on drawings.
He said most youth complain about high unemployment rate but not appreciating their God’s given talents, citing that with one portrait he can generate M200.00.
