Botha-Bothe, Sept. 24 — Thabang Ramakoloi (41) of Ha Mopeli, Makopo has appeared before the Botha-Bothe Magistrate Court today on account of rapping a minor.
According to Magistrate Mamosebatho Kantoro, the accused with two counts of rape on different occasions. On the first count, the accused is charged for contravening the provisions of Section 9(1)&(3) read with Section 32 (a)(v) of the Sexual Offences Act No.3 of 2003 (Persistent Sexual abuse of a child).
In the year 2020 on unknown dates, the accused at Makopo raped a 15 year old girl on different occasions.
Alternatively the accused is charged with Section 8(1) read with Section 32 (a)(vi) of the Sexual Offences Act No.3 of 2003 (Child Molestation).
