ACCUSED WANTS MEDICAL ATTENTION 

Maseru, Jan. 12 — Litekanyo Nyakane, one of the accused in a case in which some army members are accused of killing three men at Mafeteng in 2012 has on Friday, through his lawyer Advocate Karabo Mohau (KC) requested that he be taken for medical attention. 

His lawyer told the court that he has been complaining about an eye but when he was taken for physiotherapy at Makoanyane Military Hospital by prisons officials, he was not allowed to have the eye attended to by a doctor.

He pointed out that the problem of the eye was caused by the prison’s officials, adding that he was attended to at the same Hospital therefore he needed a checkup as he is experiencing issues with the eye. He said he is comfortable with any doctor attending to the eye.
