Maseru, Mar.07 — With the ongoing squabble between the Leader of Basotho Action Party (BAP) and also Minister of Energy Professor Nqosa Mahao and his Principal Secretary Mr. Tankiso Phapano, the party’s executive committee has therefore request that the latter be transferred to another ministry.
Speaking in an interview, BAP Secretary General Mr. Lepolesa Makutoane said that as the central executive committee they have resolved to advise Prime Minister Mr. Ntsokoane Matekane to transfer Mr. Phapano to the Ministry of Tourism, Sports, Arts and Culture as it is still allocated to BAP and headed by BAP Deputy Leader Minister Motlatsi Maqelepo.
He said that this comes as one of the most efficacious remedies the Committee considered to bring about a peaceful solution to the long-standing challenge that concerns the Minister and the Principal Secretary in the Ministry of Energy. . .
