Maseru, Feb 13 – The country’s bicentennial celebration is meant for nation building and attainment of peace among the Basotho nation.
This was said by Minister of Tourism, Sports, Arts and Culture Mr. Motlatsi Maqelepo in his statement he made in the National Assembly on Tuesday.
He said the bicentennial celebration which commenced with a prayer last Friday is meant to restore peace and unite the Basotho nation at large.
The Minister also said this marks the role of chiefs they played in nation building from the days of the late Moshoeshoe I reign. . .
