Qacha’s Nek, Aug. 31 — A sense of anticipation filled the air on Saturday as over 20 journalists from both state and private media embarked on an unforgettable tour of Qacha’s Nek.
The journey, a precursor to the much-anticipated 21km international marathon on October 26, 2024, is set to be a key event in the 200th bicentennial celebrations of this storied district.
This marathon, the Agency has learnt, is more than just a race; it is a beacon of pride, illuminating Qacha’sNek’s rich cultural and historical heritage.
Organized by the Mountain Marathon 21km and sponsored by Manti Sehloho Construction and Projects, the two-day tour also featured key stakeholders, including the Ministry of Tourism, Sports, Arts, and Culture (MTSAC), Lesotho Tourism Development Corporation (LTDC), and the Lesotho Sport and Recreation Commission (LSRC).
