CASE MOVED TO NEXT WEEK

Maseru, Jul 10 — A case in which some army members are accused of attempted murder of Former Editor of the Lesotho Times and Sunday Express newspapers Lloyd Mutungamiri was on Monday postponed to Wednesday next week.

The case which was scheduled to proceed today and tomorrow as well as Wednesday next week could not proceed as scheduled. The Court was during the morning session informed that defence lawyers in the matter would be available in the afternoon.

Advocate Thandi Phohlo from Molati Chambers who stood-in for all the defence lawyers told the court that the lawyers were under the impression that the presiding magistrate would not be available today as he would be attending a workshop therefore the case would not proceed.  She thus requested that the matter be stood down to after the lunch break. . .
