Mokhotlong Sept.29– Electoral Divisions (ED) closed on time, at 5:00 pm, at Ntlholohetsane Primary School under the Mokhotlong Urban Council on Friday.
The Assistant Returning Officer at Ntlholohetsane Primary School Ms. Kekeletso Makoanyane said when the ED closes, there were 618 electors who cast their votes out of 2611 that were expected to have votes at this ED.
However there were still electorates who were standing on the lines to cast their votes and they were allowed to do so as they were at the lines by the time the ED was closed.
Ms. Makoanyane explained that they met a challenge of some voters whose names did not appear on the voters roll.
Mokhotlong district has five Councils that include Seate, Mphokojoane, Sanqebethu, Menoaneng and Urban.
