LESOTHO GOVERNMENT SPEAKS OUT ON TRUMP DECISIONS

Maseru, Jan. 31—The government of Lesotho is hoping to hold talks with the State Department of the United States (US) to discuss the impact of the executive orders signed by President Donald Trump on January 20.

In its statement, the government says the Lesotho Embassy in America will keep the government in the loop on the progress of the talks.

However, the government says allegations that eleven Basotho have been kicked out of the US have not been verified.

The government statement further continues to show that it is aware that the orders are likely to affect some of the aid programs supported by the US government adding that the Lesotho government through its cabinet and development partners are currently working hard to look into the bearing of this move on the country and its citizens, within the 90 days and after…
