MASERU — Lesotho Tourism Development Corporation (LTDC) in collaboration with Popup Afrika and Alliance Insurance held a meeting about their partnership in Maseru on Wednesday.
Speaking at the meeting, the founder of Popup Afrika Mr. Moekoa Thahane mentioned that Popup Afrika brings high level of joy and they aim to tell stories and sell Lesotho in other countries.
He mentioned that they are passionate about telling stories about food, music tourism, travelling and culture.

Thahane said Popup Afrika began as an initiative among friends and grew in popularity during Maseru’s 150-year celebrations in 2018 and 2019.
“During the campaign, we hosted discussions on religion, adventure, and other cultural themes, which were well received by the public hence the need to tell more stories about our country and what it can offer to the world,” he said.
He added that Popup Afrika worked with music experts, streamed events online, and produced a television show. The aim was to share Lesotho’s story while creating opportunities for local content creators. . .
