MABOTE POLICE SEES DECLINE IN CRIME

Maseru, Jan.18 — Mabote Police Station has seen a decline in criminal activities since christmas holidays to date.

This is according to the Officer Commanding Mabote Police Station Superintendent Mokete Matseletsele in an interview with the agency, saying they only recorded one death over holidays unlike in the past when more deaths were recorded.

He indicated that decline in criminal activities was due to cooperation between the Police, Community Policing Committees (CPCs), Liquor store owners, Councillors and Chiefs, highlighting that they met prior to holidays to draw a work plan on how they would combat criminal activities.
