Maseru, Jan.18 — Over 90 illegal miners commonly known as Zama-zama faced the South Africa (SA) Magistrate’s court for illegal mine activities at Stilfontein disused mine this week.
According to South African (SA) reports the illicit miners rescued since the start of the rescue operation on Monday this week, face charges related to illegal mining, trespassing and violations of the immigration Act while two miners found in possession of gold have also been charged with the illegal possession of gold-bearing material.
