Mafeteng, August 30 — The Mafeteng Magistrate has sentenced a 38 year-old Thabang Monyane of Ha Seitlheko to four years imprisonment or pay a fine of M4, 000.00 for illegal possession of diamond.
Half of the sentence was suspended on conditions the convict does not commit the same offense within a period of one year.
According to the evidence led before court on August 15, 2023 the convict was found possessing illegal diamond at his respective home following information provided by members of the community in the area.
