MINISTER LAUNCHES NATIONAL  NUTRITION CAMPAIGN

Maseru, June 12 — The Minister in the Prime Minister’s Office, Mr. Limpho Tau says  there is a need to normalise the nation’s understanding on the importance of food production.

He said this when  launching  the National Nutrition Campaign at an event  held in Maseru today, Wednesday.

He highlighted that while Lesotho has arable land, it is unacceptable that the country and its people are unable to produce for self-sufficient purposes, so as to tackle unnecessary diseases caused by unhealthy eating habits.

Minister Tau called the modern Mosotho, to introspect during 200 years, look at the natural food Basotho used to eat then as opposed to the ones being eaten now.
