Maseru, Jan.21 — Following its closure in December 2021, Moshoeshoe II High School situated about 45 kilometres south of Maseru is now another campus for Lerotholi Polytechnic (LP) otherwise Fokothi.
This was disclosed by Principal Secretary in the Ministry of Education and Training Mr. Ratšiu Majara in an interview on Sunday.
The school was closed in December 2021 by former Minister of Education and Training, Mrs. ‘Mamookho Phiri on the basis that the school buildings were not in good shape and therefore were hazardous to both students and teachers. She had said that the school would be closed for the whole of 2022 while working on the structures.
Mr. Majara said that the school has been given to Lerotholi Polytechnic saying that all the processes have been completed and all that is left is the launch which is supposed to be sometime this month or next month. . .
