Maseru, July 25 — Minister of Local Government, Chieftainship, Home Affairs and Police Mr. Lebona Lephema says Lesotho as a country currently does not have waste generation statistics.
In his response during the question and answer session in the National Assembly on Thursday, the Minister the Ministry of Environment is still working on the development of s National waste management strategy which will lead to the development of waste management information system.
He also stated that the Maseru City Council (MCC) collection trucks go into property communities to pick up waste. . .
