PM SAYS MOSHOESHOE I LEFT BASOTHO A LEGACY

Maseru, March 10 – Prime Minister Mr. Ntsokoane Sam Matekane says Moshoeshoe I has left Basotho a legacy which they should embrace.

Giving his closing remarks at the end of the 116 kilometre distance of Moshoeshoe Walk from Menkhoaneng in the Leribe district to Menkhoaneng at Thaba Bosiu in the Maseru district which the late Moshoeshoe I walk 200 years back was a legacy he left for the Basotho nation.

He therefore urged Basotho to embrace it, saying it was a time for introspection, love, peace, unity, tolerance and for nation building.

Mr. Matekane also commended those who came to the Moshoeshoe Walk from other countries like Botswana, Malawi, South Africa, and UK, US, China as well as other development partners who were part of this historic event. . .
