Maseru, May 27 – Minister of Public Works and Transport Mr. Matjato Moteane says the 23 kilometre gravel road from Baleming Ha Nqheku to Thotapeli is ahead of schedule as it is likely to finish in July, which is two month before the original time frame.
Mr. Moteane said this during at the end of the tour of the Natural Resources Parliamentary Committee as part of familiarisation exercise on Monday.
The Minister said the work that has been done so far has covered an estimated 10 kilometers of the 23 total distance.
However, he still believed that in the next two months, the rehabilitation process will be complete.
‘I will be angry that my staff tasked to carry out this project will not have completed the work by July this year based on the current rate that is being done,’ he commented.
